Improve Lives

Rotary members are ordinary men and women that come from all walks of life who want to get involved in projects to help their community.

Rotarians innovate new ideas and ways to help local people in the community or to raise much needed funds for projects locally or further afield.

Rotarians don’t just talk about it - they get on and do it.

And they do it with a smile on the face and a warm heart.

Find out how you can become part of this unique community.

WELCOME to OSWESTRY CAMBRIAN ROTARY - New Rotary for a New Generation

Contact Us

Cambrian Rotarians have started a wheel chair pushing service in partnership with the Oswestry Town Council following the banning of cars (other than funeral cars) into the cemetery.

Cars were banned after a number of incidents in the cemetery with people leaving their cars on the narrow roads forcing other to drive past them on the grass and consequently over some of the graves.

Cemetery wheelchair service

Cambrian Rotarians have adopted the Roundabout outside the main entrance to the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital.

Work started on 29th October and we are grateful to Guy Wilkinson of WGW Builders Ltd in Oswestry for his donated 2 days of work with his machine to strip off the soil and accumulated weeds on the roundabout prior to us turfing the centre area and applying white stone chipping's around the outer ring. Job done!

Cambrian Rotarians took on the Father Christmas street collections around the streets of Oswestry and local villages for 2017 and going forward. Just over £3000 collected for local organisations and Rotary supported projects.
